The aim of Gladio Salutum to introduce people to the swords path as taught by Fiore dei Liberi over 600 years ago.

Gentle warm up and stretches.
The 6 cuts. Sei Colpi
Fendente - downwards from either side with the front edge, from cheek to knee
Mezzano - horizontal from either side, with true edge from the right, false edge from the left
Sottano - upwards from either side, with either edge
Cuts could be MANDRITTO if come from right, or ROVERSO if come from left.
The 5 thrusts, Cinque Punta
One thrust (punta), which can come from 5 angles:
High right: Punta Soprana Dritto
High left: Punta Soprana Roversa
Low right: Punta Sottana Dritto
Low left: Punta Sottana Roversa
Middle: Punta di Mezzo
